How to add Remote MYSQL Host to cPanel, DirectAdmin or Plesk

cPanel

If you are using cPanel, Remote MYSQL Host can be enabled in

cpanel->Databases->Remote MySQL

Enter our IP 31.204.153.% in textbox “Host (% wildcard is allowed): ”

DirectAdmin

If you are using DirectAdmin, Remote MYSQL Host can be enabled in

User Level -> MySQL Management -> databasename -> Add Access Host.

Enter our IP 31.204.153.% in textbox.

Plesk

If you are using Plesk, Remote MYSQL Host can be enabled in

Plesk Control Panel->Modules->Firewall->Edit Firewall Configurations->MySQL server

This is where you can edit the rules for port 3306, the default mySQL port.
Choose the ‘Allow from selected sources, deny from others’ option.
A text box will appear below, go ahead and enter our IP address
31.204.153.%
in this box and then click ‘add’.
